A West Virginia Spring

It has been a very wet Spring so far here in West Virginia.

We have gone from 70 degrees, to snow, to rain now. We have a forecast of rain and 58 degrees for the next two weeks or so.

Our Easter forecast looks to be dry. Praise the Lord!

We have many projects for the upcoming weeks.

We have been:

-Preparing for new carpet in our home.
-Hoping to buy a tiller to till the gardens better.
-Painting a few rooms to spruce them up!
-Finishing our bonus room project a little at a time.

I'm sure most of you know that are on a tight budget, that projects take time. We have been praying and steadily getting our bonus room finished that is above the garage. We wanted it to be finished before Christmas but we are no where close. I have learned through marriage and life, that projects take time. Especially when you are not going into debt for them.

I have a few flower beds that need spruced up as well. That is my love!

I love to make a new flower bed and enjoy adding to it here and there.

We were at Lowe's today, and those spring pansises are calling my name. But I held off :)

How is your Spring going where you live?

We are having the same kind of spring. I love when projects are in the plans and they actually get done. We do not go into debt either for projects so, they take awhile for us to get projects done. This year our projects will be things like adding a sub-pump,new plastic, insulation under the house. New gravel for the driveway and hopefully new landscape across the front of the house. Slowly but surely! We are very wet here with more rain coming Sunday-Thursday. Needless to say there is a lot of flooding in our area. Have a wonderful week!!!
